Working with Schedule Templates

UPDATE THIS TEMPLATE TO FOLDERS AND SERVICES

There may be services at your church which do not need reminders. To make sure Confirmed.Church sends reminders to only those people who need them, we have improved our filtering process. Now you can use the Planning Center (PCO) folders feature to tell us which services need reminders.

โ€‹IN PLANNING CENTER >>>

In Planning Center, set up folders in your Services tab. We have set up a folder named 'Lisa's Folder'.

Inside Lisa's Folder there is one weekly service: "Sing to the Lord".

IN COMFIRMED.CHURCH >>>

Step 1: Click on the green UPDATE THIS TEMPLATE TO FOLDERS AND SERVICES button (see image above).

Step 2: Click on the folders and services for which you want to send reminders. We have selected Lisa's Folder and the Sing to the Lord service (see image above).

Step 3: Click on the green ASSIGN button to confirm your action (see image above).

Step 4: Your selected folders and services will now receive the reminders you set up (see image above).

SCHEDULING TIMEZONE

This is the time zone associated with your browser. In the example above, local time is (America/Chicago). To change this timezone, go to Settings (gear icon) --> My Profile and update your Localization.

The hours shown are the window during which your reminders will be sent (to avoid people getting texts too early or too late).

SEND A CONFIRMATION (ACCEPT/DECLINE) INITIAL CONFIRMATION TEXT

This is an initial text confirmation request. In other words, a text which asks if you want to accept or decline. Toggle this off (the button will turn black) if you do not want to send this.

SEND A CONFIRMATION (ACCEPT/DECLINE) TEXT REMINDER

This goal of confirmation reminders is to get your contacts to accept or decline your event invitation(s). This is where you choose when to send the confirmation.

If this section is collapsed, hover near the option line. A blue EDIT will appear. Click on it to expand the section.

The following detail will appear:

NOTE: Your choices will depend on your plan. If you are on our Just Starting plan ($10/m or $100/y), you would have access to one Confirmation Reminder option: 3 days before the event (as shown in the screenshot above). All other plans have full access.

3. Toggle on (button is green) and toggle off (button is black) as desired. If you want Confirmed.Church to send a confirmation reminder, you must choose at least one option. Other than that, you can choose to send as many confirmation reminders as you wish.

AFTER THE PERSON CONFIRMS...

This goal of follow-up reminders is to increase the number of contacts who actually show up to the event(s). This is where you choose when to send follow-up text reminders.

NOTE: If you toggle this option to off (green button on description line turns black), Confirmed.Church will not send any follow-up text reminders.

If this section is collapsed, hover near the option line. A blue EDIT will appear. Click on it to expand the section.

The following detail will appear:

NOTE: Your choices will depend on your plan. If you are on our Just Starting plan ($10/m or $100/y), you would have access to these Follow-up Reminder options: 15 minutes, 1 day, and 1 week before the event (as shown in screenshot above). All other plans have full access.

Toggle on (button is green) and toggle off (button is black) as desired. If you want Confirmed.Church to send a follow-up reminder, you must choose at least one option. Other than that, you can choose to send as many follow-up reminders as you wish.

ENABLE SMART TEXTING...

Turning on this option would always send one reminder text per day for all the services the person is schedule for. We would use the first (earliest) event data/time as a reference while mentioning the other service times in the same text.
