Instead of asking your members to reply with ACCEPT/DECLINE, your text would include our hosting URL where they can accept or decline.

Why would I want to use this option?

One reason is...

In some countries, such as New Zealand, we are not set up for two-way texting yet. So, this gives you the ability to use Confirmed.Church in those places.

Another reason is...

We are set up for two-way texting in the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and South Africa. So, you could use the Accept/Decline option which we recommend as it feels more natural. However, you may wish to send your volunteers a link (URL) instead which gives them access to all their information and allows them to click and take action.

How does it work?

If you toggle on one-way texting, instead of a text merge field showing "Accept/Decline", the text merge field will display our hosting URL. Your volunteers will click on this URL to take action.

STEP 1

Log in to Confirmed.Church. Your Dashboard will be displayed.

STEP 2

Click on Settings (gear icon, yellow arrow above).

The Settings menu will pop up.

STEP 3

Click on My profile. The following User Settings screen will appear:

STEP 4

Toggle on the Enable one-way button (turquoise box and arrow above).

It will turn green.

You are now set up for one-way texting.
